Documentation Update!

The new SmartSearch Configuration Guide is now available on the Support & Developer's Forum. This essential reference manual will help both users and administrators to get the very most of SmartSearch by exposing you to functionality you may not be aware even existed. Whether it's a simple change to the color of your Post-It notes or creating a dynamic pick list, the SmartSearch Configuration guide will provide detailed instructions on how to get the answers you need.

Each year Square 9® Softworks updates its product documentation by incorporating any Tech Briefs released throughout the year in conjunction with Service Packs into our product documentation. This year the result is a comprehensive resource guide which is sure to benefit anyone who uses SmartSearch. By combining and replacing the former User and Administration Guides into one single volume, users and administrators are sure to find the answers they need, quickly and efficiently.

In addition the new SmartSearch Configuration Guide, we gave also updated the installation guides for both demonstration and standard server installations. To access any of the new SmartSearch product guides visit the Support & Developer's Forum today.

SmartSearch Administrators - User Manager Available July 11th

Administrators can now get a better handle on their license consumption through the use of the SmartSearch User Manager module. Previously only available to users of Web XChange, User Manager has now been extended to LAN based installations as well with the release of Service Pack 3.2.1 on July 11, 2011.

SmartSearch Administrators can now see who is currently logged into the system, log off users from the system or set auto log off parameters globally for all users through a convenient User Manager Panel.
