SmartSearch Certification with
Plasmon’s Archive Storage Solutions
Square 9 Softworks announced today its certification
with the Plasmon UDO Archive Appliance as a secure,
compliant storage solution for its SmartSearch Document
Management suite to deliver a fully compliant archival
storage option for customers with SEC, HIPPA or Sarbanes
Oxley compliance needs.
Plasmon’s archive storage solutions are specifically
designed for the long-term storage of valuable digital
assets. The unique architecture combines the performance
and simplicity of network-attached RAID cache, with the
longevity and authenticity of Ultra Density Optical
(UDO) to set a new standard for enterprise archival
storage. Data is written to RAID disk for rapid access,
and then migrated to secure UDO for long-term retention.
UDO is a true Write Once Record Many (WORM) media meets
the highest standards for non-rewritable, non-erasable
media, while helping businesses to comply with
regulatory requirements.
