What is It?
SmartSearch Web XChange extends the reach of SmartSearch beyond traditional LAN, WAN and VPN environments by delivering data and documents through a standard web browser. Remote or non connected users can now utilize Web XChange to search for documents within SmartSearch from their home, remote office or web kiosk. Web XChange is supported on Internet Explorer andMozilla FireFox.

With SmartSearch Web XChange remote access is as simple as navigating to a web page. Documents are rendered to PDF and displayed with any PDF browser plug-in. Standard SmartSearch security is automatically applied with web views logged in the SmartSearch Audit Trail.

• Uses the convenience of a standard PDF Viewer, eliminating the need for proprietary plugs-ins or ActiveX Controls to be installed.
• View, Print or Email documents from within the PDF viewer
• Secure access is available with 128 bit encrypted document delivery through Secure Socket Layer (SSL)
• Can be load balanced across multiple web servers
