Business Analyst

The Role

The Square 9 Business Analyst works closely with Pre-Sales and Post Sales staff to translate customer requirements into Project Deliverables. The Business Analyst is responsible for evaluating a project’s viability by understanding the components involved as well as the customer’s functional requirements; this foundational understanding is then translated into a clear and concise Statement of Work. The ideal candidate has excellent communication and writing skills, is detail oriented, and has an excellent understanding of network infrastructure and componentry. He/she has extensive experience in deploying IT projects across various business units.

Positional Responsibilities

  • Estimate and provide quotations for Service Projects
  • Work with the Square 9 Sales Team to develop solutions and Statements of Work
  • Create Project Timelines, define project milestones
  • Create and validate a well-defined and clearly articulated scope for each project
  • Own scope change management (time, cost, risk, quality, resources and customer satisfaction.)
  • Analyze project successes and failures
    • Report on project metrics including:
      • Project Types
      • Project Underage/Overage
      • Trends resulting in Opportunities for Continuous Process Improvement

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in scoping and managing technical projects
  • Experience implementing all aspects of a technology focused project, preferably in the ECM Market
  • Experience in managing projects implementing or integrating with It based projects.

Marketing Communications Specialist

The Role

The Marketing Department at Square 9 Softworks, a rapidly growing software company located in downtown New Haven, is looking to add a dynamic, creative, and results driven Marketing Communications Specialist to our energetic team. The role entails assisting with the development and implementation of our communications strategy, including creation of highly effective messaging and digital marketing best practices, across a broad range of business applications. This role would support the Marketing Department with all digital related functions such as, driving social media strategy, creating email marketing campaigns, weekly blog writing, content creation, SEO & PPC project management and website maintenance.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support department Communications Manager in development and execution of all digital marketing communications strategies, programs, lead generation tactics, collateral and events
  • Assist with and implement department editorial calendar, including content strategy for leveraging online platforms – website, email, social media, webinars – and resources such as white papers and infographics
  • Develop and maintain resources library through creative writing of blogs and customer use cases

The Role

Square 9 Softworks, a rapidly growing software company located in downtown New Haven, is looking to for a dynamic, energetic, and results driven Sales & Marketing Coordinator. The ideal candidate would act as the liaison between Sales and Marketing, with an emphasis on lead generation and sales support, but also performing critical administrative functions. The role includes several unique responsibilities ranging from the fielding of inbound calls and distributing leads, to maintaining our CRM database, with a key concentration of this position focused on inbound lead generation activities.

The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of business disciplines and skills critical to the role of Sales and Marketing Administration. This individual should be an effective decision maker and critical thinker, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly understand a variety of business applications. This role requires impeccable communication and relationship skills, with the ability to adjust in a fast-paced environment, while managing several projects at once.

Sales & Marketing Responsibilities

  • Oversee all lead generation activities and campaigns, managing phone calls, online web forms, CRM database entry and forwarding to appropriate Sales staff
  • Communicate with customers, resellers and prospects, responding to Sales and Marketing inquires
  • Coordinate all Sales and Marketing support activities such as daily project requests, presentations, development of materials and meeting preparation for major accounts
